Main ingredients in Punarnavadi Kashayam are Boerhaavia diffusa, Cedrus deodara, Terminalia chebula, Azadirachta indica, zingiber officinale. The rich combination of these herbs have Sophahara action and acts as Ayurvedic medicine for swelling. Pharmacological action of Punarnavadi Kashayam assuages kapha and pitta conditions when in extreme.
