A decoction effective in acute inflammatory conditions of joints and muscles. Effective in swelling and pain present in knee joint, ankles, hip joint and neck.

In early stages of joint disorders/degeneration of joints, the inflammatory condition begins with redness, pain and swelling which would remain for few years, unless treated with apt medicines. The inflammation might even affect the rest of the joints including upper and lower limbs. The major ingredients of the kashaya, Rasna is the most effective cure in the painful condition of arthritis and swelling as well. Ingredients like Vrisha, patola, harithakietc acts effectively against the paithika condition like redness, burning sensation and tenderness. The nervous system is also strengthened which inturnimproves the functions of joints and muscles. During medication the patient must follow certain diet restrictions which might otherwise hinder immediate effectiveness of the medicine.
